Cool things to see and do
Some places I enjoy and thought you might like also.

Henry Ford Museum & Greenfield Village
Dearborn, MI
313-982-6116
What an amazing gift Henry Ford left for us common folk. The building themselves would be spectacular even if they were empty....but they are far from empty. Check it out. This is a must see. Insist the kids and spouse tag along even if they don't want to. They will be glad they made the trip. I make at least one trip here every year. It is a great place for learning and inspiration.
KI Sawyer Air Force Base
near Marquette, MI
and other stops in the U.P
Several years ago KI Sawyer AFB, near   Marquette, MI,  was closed. There are a few planes remaining on display. I love the huge B-52's. I have a customer who flies one and says the wings "flap" at low level flight! Don't miss Presque Isle Park (in Marquette) at dusk. You will see many 'wild' deer emerge from the woods. Most can be fed corn or carrots out of your hand. The area has many waterfalls also. Check out the photo of Munising Falls about 45 miles East of  Marquette in Munising, MI. A trip to the U.P. without a stop at the bridge or the locks would be incomplete. Pictured Rocks is said to be very nice but I have not had time to check it out (too busy selling plants!) Peak fall color is usually in late September. When in the area they are all  worth the short drive.
