Lake County Nursery
Mary Elizabeth Garden
| This
beautiful garden is located next to the Lake County Nursery main office. The garden is
dedicated to Mary Elizabeth Sallay Zampini. She was the wife of the founder of LCN and the
mother of the current owners. There are over 500 varieties of perennials, annuals, herbs,
conifers, grasses, trees and shrubs. A beautiful water garden joins one of the patio
areas. Another sunken brick patio is lined by flowering crabapples. Many LCN introductions
can be seen here (and if you look closely you may see some of tomorrows introductions!)
There is interest in every season so stop by every time you come to the nursery. Plants
are labeled and tours are available. Please call if wish a personal tour. Bring your
camera! |
